After careful consideration, Ames will transition from Stage 4 to Stage 3 of the NASA Response Framework effective June 8. This transition for our center is based on regional and local progress mitigating the spread of COVID-19, revised shelter-in-place orders for Santa Clara County, conditions at our center, and a successful review of our readiness to make this transition.  

Center leadership remains focused on establishing the safest environment possible while transitioning gradually to increase on-site work on the highest-priority mission-critical tasks. Ames will remain in mandatory telework status, and access to the center will continue to be controlled.  

During challenging and uncertain times, the continued hard work and efforts of the Ames workforce is greatly appreciated. Please continue taking care of yourselves, your loved ones, one another, and our community. We will get through this, together.
